South Central Area Rover Rally

April 7th - 10th 2021

SCARR is an organized, family off-road event for Land Rover enthusiasts.

This year's event will be held at Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area in Gilmer, Texas on April 7-10, 2022. BMRA is a beautiful 1,850 acre premier off-road park located 2 hours east of DFW. Visit for details and information on the park.

SCARR attracts people from around the country to experience the off-road capabilities of their Rovers with guided trail runs for drivers with all levels of experience. As we celebrate our 18th event, we have once again reserved the entire park for Rovers only. A single fee covers your park entrance, primitive camping, an event bag, 10 free raffle tickets, one catered meal on Saturday evening, and the Saturday night raffle. SCARR is an exciting event for any Rover enthusiast!

“There is literally something for everyone at SCARR.”

Activities abound including a ladies only Barbara Toy Tribute Run, lectures, off-road training, and kid’s activities such as the Radio Control Car Time Challenge and a movie night with root beer floats.

Each year, attendees forge life long memories with friends and

families. We look forward to seeing you at SCARR 2022!

to current restrictions. For 2021, the club will not be reserving the park
